With over fifteen years of experience as a professional composer, musician, music educator, audio producer and engineer, Sean has compiled an expansive body of work comprising multiple disciplines and genres.  

 

Sean earned his undergraduate degree in Music Education from The College of New Jersey and his Master's Degree in Music Composition and Scoring from Academy of Art University in San Fransisco.

Sean teaches instrumental music, music theory and composition in both public and private schools with students of all ages. Sean's proficiency for instruction on woodwind, brass and string instruments is palpable and reflects his students' progress and accomplishments.  He is now the chairperson of Band and Orchestra Instrument Studies at Music Notes Academy in East Brunswick, NJ.  He also taught middle school orchestra at the Hun School of Princeton.

 

Once serving as the music director and conductor of the Glen Rock Pops, Sean now holds the same title with the Hopewell Valley Pops Orchestra and Hopewell Valley Youth Orchestra.   These two orchestras are a part of the Hopewell Valley Community of Associated Music Projects. (HVCAMP) This is a 501c3 organization that he Co-founded along with professional jazz musician and music educator Jack Furlong.

Along with esteemed colleague and professional composer/audio engineer Philip Vasta, Sean Co-founded and Co-owns Soundspring Studio LLP.  Together they compose, mix, master and engineer music for all media and all occasions.

Sean is Pro Tools certified and is fluent in multiple digital audio workstations and music notation softwares such as Logic, Sibelius and Finale.  He keeps all of his audio equipment, virtual instrument libraries and sounds up to date, using the latest software, while continuously exceeding client expectations.
